11 Seriously Awesome Company Offices!

by Lee on December 30, 2011

When we think off corporate jobs, we straight away get an image in our minds of a middle aged man depressed working in cluttered cubicle.

Although there are still going to be small workspaces, companies have now gathered that a more dynamic workspace and building produces happier and more productive employees rather than those whom hate waking up everyday to go to their corporate job and are trying to escape the rat race.

With that in mind, here are 11 different well designed company workplaces that will inspire you to sort your cluttered desk or home workspace and make yourself work even harder to achieve your potential.

#1Facebook

You all know Facebook the number 1 Social Network in the world, founded by Mark Zuckerburg. Here are some images of their awesome company offices.

#2Red Bull

This has to be one of my favourite company offices, mostly because of their sleek design and of course the awesome slide!

#3Twitter

Twitter, similar to Facebook is a fast growing tech company which of course most of us know, their new office has to be pretty unique and it has a lot of references to birds all around the offices. It seems inspirational and not some place that looks like work, which I believe they were trying to achieve.

#4Google

When I came across googles company offices and workspaces, I was seriously stunned because of their design and of course the many different activities that they can do when they are on their break or simply not working. For example they have an awesome gym area, relaxation room and the presence around the office looks homely.

#5Yahoo

Yahoo have several offices all around the world, this office seems to have a modern design which works in some company environments, they have a gym area and places where they can do other activities such as table tennis. Not a bad place to work.

#6Selgas Cano Architecture

The Selgas Cano Architecture was designed by Iwan Baan and is located below ground level, it looks like a quiet and peaceful environment where employees can be creative and inspired to work, rather than stressed and agitated.

#7TBWA Hakuhodo

TBWA Hakuhodo is a japanese advertising company which looks like they were trying to bring everything from the outside and mould it into an office. With that said it does look like a very workable environment, where a 9-5 job would not really feel like a 9-5.

#8Pixar

You may know Pixar Animations from movies such as Toy Story, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, yep thats right they created those movies, but did you know that they have a cool office to go with that vision. The company office is filled with animation toys from their films and they have their mini hut offices where they can do their work and places where they can just sit and chill and activities such as table tennis.

#9Hyves

Hyves is a social network which is a big deal in the netherlands, their office is similar to Facebook in their sleek and simple design, however their offices contain real bright colours it would be impossible to fall asleep, check it out.

#10 Groupon

Groupon is a young startup, (CEO Andrew Mason) which was launched in November 2008 and is currently worth several billions according to several companies that have offered to acquire the company and of course the stock market. It is crazy to think what these guys have achieved in a 3 year time gap, and this is why I believe you should never doubt yourself as anything is possible. Check out their current offices.

#11Aol

You all know AOL right, well although their company was very big around 2000 it has slowly started to descend since then, however their offices still look awesome, check it out:

Conclusion

These all look like healthy and peaceful environments where inspiration and creativity can be produced. These companies have a lot of profits coming in and could be said to be able to experiment with different working environments. However by keeping them it has shown us they must have been found to work better than the old company offices that they once had. It could be said that companies should not ignore the workspace of their employees because they are what make the company and a bit of improvement could be made to everyday company offices to improve the overall working environment.
